Bailard attributes much of its success to the firm's innovative practices and strong culture of openness. We keep each other informed through all-company meetings held each Monday morning, weekly investment briefings, small group chats with the Chairman, and by way of our collaborative (and literally), "no doors" environment. A highly visible sign of the firm's success is the long-term nature of the firm's relationships with employees and clients alike. Two key measures believed to be linked are employee tenure (averaging over 13 years) and client retention (over 98% for its wealth management clients over the past 3 years ending 2008).*
