Dave has more than 32 years of leadership experience at some of the world’s largest semiconductor corporations including Toshiba America Electronic Components (TAEC), Advanced Microdevices (AMD), Fairchild Semiconductor, and United Technologies (UTC). His career has spanned Electronic Design and Application Engineering, Procurement Management, Sales and Marketing Management, Business Systems Implementation and Analysis, and Operations. In addition to his work as a business Mentor and group chair with Vistage, Dave is the founder and CEO of dbkAssociates, Inc., a change management and business practices consulting firm providing economy of knowledge to the Small and Mid-sized Enterprise community.
Dave keeps abreast of leadership best practices through professional speaking, writing, and consulting on corporate governance. He engages a wide variety of business entities in all economic sectors including not-for-profit corporations, industrial manufacturers, medical products distribution, pharmaceutical manufacturing and IT corporations.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering and is a Master of Business Administration. He is active in the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association (PCMA), the Forum for Corporate Directors (FCD), is a long time member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and sits on the board of the California Conference for Equity and Justice (CCEJ) as well as other not-for-profit and private for-profit boards. Dave is also an executive-to-executive mentor to EMBA students at the UCI Paul Merage School of Business and Entrepreneur in Residence at CSUF Center for Entrepreneurship MBA program.
