It has been said that a dream is a wish your heart makes. In 1990, Robert Kahn and Carolyn Adams, former stars with the Paul Taylor Dance Company, listened to their hearts and made their dream a reality by creating Fantasy Fare Caterers. Their goal: to help clients design and host their own dream or fantasy event.
Executive chef, Clifton Thompson, former principal dancer with the Jose Limon Dance Company, joined Rob and Carolyn in 1991. With his added talents and shared vision, Fantasy Fare began to grow from a small company serving the entertaining needs of fellow artists, and select friends and acquaintances, into one of Manhattan’s most treasured catering companies, boasting such clients as NYCB, the Museum of the City of New York, and City Center.
Since 1990, Fantasy Fare has been providing individuals and corporations as well as arts organizations, with rapturous food and unparalleled service, at affordable prices. In 2007, Fantasy Fare moved into a new expansive kitchen facility on the Upper East Side, making it possible to provide even more people with its fine fare and incomparable service.
