The MOER Foundation targets education efforts with underserved schools to reach students at an early age and encourage them to become stewards of their community & environment. These students are future candidates for green-collar job opportunities in the green economy. The environmental education on topics ranging from climate change issues to sustainable living will hopefully spill over into their households to indirectly expose residents in low-income communities to the sustainability and the opportunities that a green economy provides.
The M.O.E.R Foundation’s Green Team supports local home owners and renters to reduce their carbon footprint by implementing sustainable practices and procedures into their existing living situation that increase energy efficiency, reduce water usage and develop cleaner waste management.
The MOER Foundation focuses on high-quality educational opportunities, training programs, professional and workforce-development. These services will be created for and accessible to disadvantaged communities. These programs will emphasize job- readiness skills that connect community members to actual available high quality green jobs.
