Palo Alto Software develops and publishes Business Plan Pro, market leading software for developing a business plan; Sales and Marketing Pro, powered by Duct Tape Marketing; and Email Center Pro, a web application for managing business email.

Business Plan Pro has been sold to more than a million users since it's first version was released in 1994. It is now in its 11th version, the 15th anniversary version.

Tim is president and founder Palo Alto Software, founder of bplans.com, co-founder of Borland International.

He is also the conceptual author of best-selling business planning software Business Plan Pro. And he is the author of books including 'The Plan-as-you-go Business Plan' (Entrepreneur Press, 2008) and (co-author) '3 Weeks to Startup' (Entrepreneur Press, 2008).



He has a Stanford MBA degree, an MA with honors in Journalism from the University of Oregon, and a BA with honors from the University of Notre Dame.
