When companies/organizations plan and execute to plan, they are successful. PI helps companies move plan from concept to execution by assessing the company's ability to execute the plan through its current talent pool. Using a web based application, employee are assigned goals, responsibilities, and tasks that are components of the strategic initiatives of the organizations. This step operationalizes the plan. Employee performance on tasks is periodically assessed during the performance period, typically one year. Performance improvements to close the gap between current and desired performance is implemented on an as needed basis.
