Responder Public Safety Equipment offers a wide selection of emergency vehicle equipment for law enforcement, fire fighting, EMS, towing, construction and utility vehicles. In business since 2007, we offer our products worldwide through our website as well as locally through our retail location. Our emergency vehicle equipment product lines include led lightbars, dash lights, sirens, speakers, grille guards, consoles, computer mounts and more. We also offer LED off road lights, flashlights, air horns and fire fighting / EMS gear bags. Installation services are available as well for all of the products we sell. Responder PSE is accredited with Better Business Bureau and is Customer Certified through BizRate online.
Responder PSE began as an offshoot from the Project Responder (http://www.projectresponder.com) website which began in 2000. After the truck was completed, the Project Responder website was ranked number one for many of the search terms by which these products are found. Eventually, the shopping cart, which had been added on, was spun off to become its own e-commerce destination. During this time, for nearly two years, the business was run from a basement office thanks to the power of the internet. Because of strong growth during these years, in late 2009, Responder PSE moved into a physical location with office, retail, warehouse and installation space. With the move, Responder PSE was then able to begin marketing locally as well as regionally in Missouri and Illinois.
Responder Public Safety Equipment has continued to benefit from strong sales despite the weak economy. There are many factors contributing to this success, some of which include an overriding commitment to customer service, reasonable prices and providing a great value for the money spent. Because of this, Responder PSE enjoys substantial repeat and referral business which has contributed substantially to the bottom line. In addition, American Express has been a significant partner as well. Between accepting the American Express card, both online and in person, Responder PSE has been able to capture a significant amount of business that would otherwise be lost. Also, each month, the cash discount from the use of the American Express Plum card puts “real” money back into the business. Unlike other credit card “rewards programs”, the discount program with the Plum Card places substantial deposits back into our account and in business, cash is king.
