Liveblogging conferences is a great way to create useful content and if you bring a video camera, you can get spontaneous interviews with people your readers want to learn from. There are many ways to repurpose content too including revisiting older blog posts and revising them with current news & statistics. Roundups of industry news are also pretty popular. One thing we did with our blog was to launch a good sized list of blogs in our industry. Each with a short description.
