Voices & Visions Productions (V&V) is a full-service, multiple-award-winning video production firm working with our clients on the creation of documentaries and corporate videos for the web as well as investor relations, HR, marketing, sales, fundraising, training, and other goals. While we can jump into a video production at any stage, clients often call us at the outset of a project. We conceptualize the video together, shoot it with professional HD camera equipment, conduct the interviews, then do all the post-production services, including transcription, translation (if necessary), final scripting, graphics (still or motion), editing on Final Cut Pro and Avid, and compression of the final draft into whatever format the client requires.
What makes V&V successful is our team that combines decades of top-notch video experience with a legal-business background. The company was started by Curt Fissel, our Director of Photography, and me. Prior to working with V&V, Curt was the Chief Photographer and Manager of News and Documentary Services for NJN, New Jersey's PBS station. His list of awards includes the coveted Cine Golden Eagle, NATAS nominations for Individual Achievement in Photography and Outstanding Historical Documentary, and an Associated Press Outstanding Documentary award. He has also freelanced for outlets including HBO, CBS, ABC Nightline, CNN, YES Network, America’s Most Wanted, and Voice of America.
My career began as an attorney, clerking for a federal district judge in the Southern District of NY, where I was in the front row of international financial and other matters. I also spent a year working in a major Manhattan law firm as well as a government commission. I morphed these skills into journalism, becoming a political correspondent of a weekly newspaper, which led to the covering of stories I wanted to produce through documentaries. The first successful program in that arena led to interested corporate clients, and thus the establishment of Voices & Visions.
