Building Ethics and Quality into your business

What do you believe to be important to a business? Some think it is money, products or service, profit margin or customers. All of this is true depending upon your values but one thing that many do not focus on is customer service and business ethics.

Ethics, integrity and character are all important as a business owner. When and how you apply these behaviors can greatly affect your business. Are you aware of how you communicate with your customers both internally and externally? It is always important to pay close attention to your ethics, integrity and character behavior patterns.

Is there ethics and quality built into your business?

I think one of the most important things you can do is create an environment that people want to be a part of. Doing this allows a culture to exist that high quality people want to be a part of. Ethics and quality need to be the cornerstone of a business, and they need to be followed especially when the outcome may be negative for you.

We agree. Funny how a lot of businesses do not consider this they primarily consider their bottom line profit. We always look at the success of companies like Southwest where they build customer service into their business model as a form of quality.

More businesses need to either get a mentor or take business refresher courses to better understand how to be effective in their business practices.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on this topic.

We manufacture custom dress shirts. The shirt goes through ten specific processes before it is shipped to the customer. We have built quality in each step to achieve overall quality. There is no other way to build a quality product unless quality is weaved in the entire process of production.

This is great because it also minimizes redundancies, fixing it right the first time. A customer can see a quality product this begins to build trust, brand loyalty and brand awareness. Your customers would also be assured that if there is some dissatisfaction that you already have another level of quality measures built in.

    Great

What do you think?
