Web 2.0 Social Marketing

Online social networks are now the new medium for word of mouth advertising. If you do not have an effective social marketing campaign, you are missing out on the conversation. Although this takes some work and some time, it is a very effective approach to reach out to your customers and potential clients. How are you using social marketing to increase your sales?

    Hi Richard, I'm the CEO of Fanminder, also in the valley. I agree, social networks represent a 10X improvement in how a company gets the word out. As a small business, we utilize Twitter to identify prospective merchants for our services. We're also using sites like this one as well as other association websites. We use Facebook and LinkedIn status updates too. I can't say we've cracked any code but have many irons in the fire that are slowly yielding high-grade solid leads, relationships and sales.
