Harlem natives Sharon Josephs and her aunt Gale Richards said in an episode of Small Business Rules
TM that they decided to bring bowling to their hometown with their two-story entertainment venue, Harlem Lanes. Today the space acts as a gathering place for locals and tourists alike. Since opening in 2006, Harlem Lanes has become a fixture in the neighborhood, drawing a wide range of customers with its 24 lanes, arcade and sports bar.
