To go for an MBA or not to go for an MBA

I'm a 52 year old successful business owner. To continue to grow and maybe diversify, I'm seriously considering enrolling in a Pepperdine - Graziadio business school Executive MBA program. Is my assumption correct that an MBA will give me the tools to advance our consulting business? Am I nuts to do it my age? Are any of you owners of small businesses who have completed an MBA program later in their career? Was it worth it? Does anyone have an opinion to share regarding Pepperdine's MBA programs?

It's a top notch program (comparable to Culinary Institute of America, where my daughter, the chef, went, but emphasizing entrepreneurial business. It's also as expensive as CIA. Did you go for an MBA? I'm trying to justify paying/investing 100K for an education with unknowable return. Do you still say Go for It?

Hey, maybe you could explore CIA resources regarding getting investors for your catering business.
