What's your SMB doing for Worksite Wellness?

If anyone is interested, we recently conducted a survey for SMB's of 100 employees or less. I'd be happy to forward the survey results to anyone who is interested. Below is a summary of the key points.

The top five observations from the survey:
1. The participating companies say they have a thorough understanding of the total cost of presenteeism in their company. This is the soft cost of an employee who is present at work but sick, depressed, stressed or generally unwell.
2. Fifty percent of the companies who participated would either like to implement a workplace wellness plan in 2011 or are “thinking about implementing one but don’t have a plan.” None of the participating companies currently have a wellness program in place.
3. The main area of opportunities that were identified were the following:
a. Executive level engagement and leadership for wellness programs.
b. Organizational team training to foster a shift in culture to promote a healthier workplace.
c. Measurement of data that suggests improvement by individuals so as to correlate culture and behavior change to costs of presenteeism.
d. Workplace wellness program management and development for a diverse population.
4. A very small percentage of respondents currently only offer a financial planning.
5. All the respondents would like to offer a stress reduction and/or nutrition program. Two thirds of respondents would like to offer exercise, weight loss and smoking cessation programs.

I'd love to hear if these observations are being experienced by others.
