When it comes to customer service, online shoe retailer Zappos goes above and beyond the call in the area of delivering happiness. CEO Tony Hsieh tells Business Insider CEO Henry Blodget that building great customer service is a long-term plan that should not be ignored. While other businesses suffered during the recession, Zappos never stopped growing because of their amazing service. "It's about the investments we made in customer service and culture that gained the loyalty of our customers and our employees that we were benefiting off of during the bad economy."
