The author of The Upside Of Irrationality tells Business Insider CEO Henry Blodget that bonuses create internal competition that will leave certain employees feeling under-appreciated. At the same time, money can only drive people to work harder for those making a certain level of income. People want to do meaningful work that is appreciated by those within the company.
