“If I have two bad days I get on my mountain bike and figure out why.” Dale Katechis founded the quirky craft brewery Oskar Blues inside a restaurant to drive business. Soon, the tables were turned and the brewery drove sales to the restaurant. In an episode of Small Business RulesTM, Dale said he chose cans rather than bottles in defiance of the industry-standard based on quality control. That unique choice has helped the company double its business every year for the last 7 years.

Dale, according to that logic you should be riding your bike somewhere around two days for every day that you wake up, right?
Um, you do the math... or start riding two times faster!

Playground bully meets bull in china shop. Who is still with you, baby? Nobody? Awwww.... After you fire the whole planet what're you planning to do - go to "Diznee" land?

Nice beer though, if you know what I mean!

You are an awesome brother, son and father! But, Yaya needs some acting lessons...that is not the "pick up a stick and put on your sweater attitude" she taught us. You are an innovator and fearless and the World needs to know that....BTW the tent is on the ceiling due to your co-partnership with the tent manufacturer. :) Also, where you would be without your bike? Love you bro.

Great piece! It's always inspirational to see small business owners who take their work just serious enough, while also realizing there is life to live!
