If you have the entrepreneurial itch to start your own business, you need to have a certain amount of experience and limitless passion to get your venture off the ground says Hard Candy Shell founder and Experience Director Kevin Kearney. He also tells Business Insider's Dan Frommer that it's important to think outside the box for solutions that aren't recycled by other competitors. Any young business needs to find ways to stand out. "Do one thing and do it well," says Courtney Lewis, Director of Strategy at Hard Candy Shell. It's better to specialize and give full effort in one field rather than give a satisfactory performance in multiple fields. Of course, compatibility is key in the workplace; so, it's very important to be patient when hiring a team that will work passionately towards the same goal.
