8 Main Factors that Affect Search Engine Rankings

Ranking high on the search engines is the goal of any search engine optimization efforts to get found. Google continues to rule the search volume, while Bing is slowly gaining some volume, especially with the recent Bing-Yahoo marriage.     Good article and excellent point on Bing. Bing is gaining volume and with Microsoft's war chest and with Steve Ballmer speaking at SEO conferences this year. Bing will be the #2 by the end of the year.

    Thanks for taking the time to comment. Bing will be the #2 search engine? A distant one. If Microsoft is able to come up with something that Google does not have, is easier to use or more popular they will do very well. They may be able to make some strides in mobile search or some sort of app. I am not sure what the big thing will be but I am sure that within the next 2 years we will see something.
