Looking for sales people

I have no budget to pay sales people so I'm wondering if I can find sales people that will work off of 100% commission. If so, how do I go about finding them? Just as important, how do I tell people with real interest from those who just want to waste my time?

I thought about Craigs List because then they would be local to me. I'm hoping maybe I can tap into the recently laid off people from IBM and other high tech companies.

Thank you,
Perry

I ended up hiring for a short-term sales blitz a cold-call salesman off www.elance.com for $10-$15 per hour and he did an excellent job. I also hired a staff person off CraigsList, and she turned out to be an incredible find. She was making six-figures, but just wanted something to cover her day-care costs. Finally, I have a retired salesman who does work for 100% commission, and he has worked with me for four years, and has been incredible. He combined about three other companies like mine who serve a single industry, but who don't compete against each other, to make the calls. He sets up the sales presentations and I do everything else, paying him a finder's fee/commission when I finish the project and get the check. So I've tried several different ways to structure staff--not wanting to hire full-time--and so far it has worked fairly well.

What do you think?
