SURVEY: Post your SEO, Social Marketing and Video Internet experiences

One of the most fascinating aspects of a forum, like AMEX OPEN, is the ability to get a pulse on our world. My hope is that I can do just that by posting various survey requests.

This post is about your SEO and Social Marketing experiences (it along with live marketing services is a service of my communication company I must disclaim but this is not an ad by any means, I'm sincerely curious about the world's experiences).

Here's the questions:

1. Do you have a formalized Internet Social Marketing strategy that you employ for your company marketing?

2. 1. Do you have a formalized SEO Marketing strategy that you employ for your company marketing?

3. How are both strategies working for you in terms of success, failure, neutral or impossible to determine?

4. Do you have significant video marketing on your website?

5. If you have video on your website, are you currently promoting your company's videos on your website by driving views through YouTube?

6. Do you use social marketing formalized techniques (meaning not just you posting, but actualy campaigns) to drive YouTube views?

One last note: I've always been a fan of social marketing as a tool. I experimented during the last election with a project created for the campaign. BTW, I work for both parties. I can report the experiment confirmed the power of social marketing, SEO and even the Internet itself. I was able to drive millions of impressions to my videos, easily. I could specifically drive virtually any amount of views and be quite selective. If I wanted 100,000 views in a particular week, I could get it. It's a science that is becoming more and more possible for us all to use.

If you go to my corporate website http://www.MBMProductions.com">http://www.MBMProductions.com look up what I did for the last election (see Obama video) in the YouTube player and notice the views, over 100,000 accumulated very quickly in a couple of weeks. That political experiment proved to me, once and for all, that I can completely control social internet marketing and get any amount of views for any video at fractions of a penny per view. I advise all businesses large and small to create compelling video and Internet market it aggressively. Ironically, as I type these words it is apparent to me that not long from now the world will look back at our still very text based Internet and consider our approach to the Internet quaint. Text, as much as I enjoy writing, is not where we should focus our marketing. We should focus primarily on video.
