Solid tips on how to pitch a story. While reporters don't have the time to deal with tons of nuisance calls and emails, a smart follow-up can make a difference. To #2 I'd say come up with the right hook for the right writer/media outlet (#1) for your REAL story. Work on creating a legitimate story, then pitch. Thanks for the insights.
