The 2010 International CES.  Some of you may be asking, what does American Express OPEN have to do with CES?  The answer is you.  In addition to the number of exhibitors and attendees who are small businesses, we recognize that there are many products and topics being presented at this tradeshow that could benefit business owners, like leveraging social media, computer hardware and software, and wi-fi technology, to name a few.  We're developing OPEN's presence at CES to give entrepreneurs a central place to meet and discuss those innovations and presentations affecting the future of how they do business.  Just as OPEN Forum was created to provide you with an online hub for networking with other business owners; we want to give the business owners at this live event an opportunity to connect and share insights and to offer those who cannot attend an insider's view of the event.

This year's CES is being held January 7-10, 2010, in Las Vegas.  OPEN will have a dual presence in the Las Vegas Convention Center, with booths in the South Hall (20925) and North Hall (31324).  Both will offer opportunities to meet other business owners and OPEN representatives, but it's at Booth 20925 in the South Hall where we're presenting a program that really brings OPEN Forum to life!

I'm excited to announce our Speaker Series, which will include OPEN Forum contributors and other experts offering their business advice and insights, with such guest speakers as Guy Kawasaki of
Alltop, Tony Hsieh of Zappos, Barb Dybwad and Ben Parr of Mashable, Anita Campbell of Small Business Trends and John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing.   They'll be covering a variety of topics, like social media and managing and growing your business, with opportunity for Q&A.  If you're planning to attend CES, I invite you to stop by and join the conversation.

You can find an up-to-date program of speakers and times at
www.OPENForum.com/CES.  You can look there to find other business owners who will be attending.  Connect with them in the Connectodex and plan to meet at the OPEN booth.

I look forward to meeting many of you there.  You can look for me at LVCC, South Hall 20925, or follow me on Twitter @jasonrudman for on-site updates.  You can also e-mail me prior to the show at jason@openforum.com.

If you're not planning to attend, you'll be able to find content and updates from the show at
www.OPENForum.com/CES.
