We haven't gone the route of full virtual office setup but we are starting to see the benefit of outsourcing various, non-core tasks. All of our phone answering is handled by a live reception service that is familiar with the business and can answer basic questions. They can forward, transfer, take messages as if sitting at a reception desk at our office. We have been very pleased so I don't mind giving a shout out to them! http://www.hostedreceptionist.com/
