Microsoft has spent billions of dollars revamping Windows Mobile 6.5 and really produced a major upgrade on the old "Windows on your phone" paradigm. The user interface is fresh, simple and easy to use. Here is a great look at the new interface: http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/presskits/windowsphone/videogallery.aspx

There are some fresh new ideas in how a phone/pda should work. Like the Bing vocl search app. Just say "Pizza" and it finds the best Pizza locations near you and shows you the way with Bing Maps. The music+video app also looks interesting. I dont think its quite as elegant as a full fledge ipod, but it you may find its user interface to your liking. A key strong point is the strong support for Office App integration. Office Hub lets you quickly access Office documents in all their glory. Powerpoints look like Powerpoints should. The People Hub is also interesting. It groups together your friends and associates into one area so you can reply quicker - without going into every different app.

All in all, I like it so far. Is it a revolution of the mobile phone? Not sure. It is a wonderful improvement on the stylus based old 6.5 version it replaces.

Whats your take?
