I am new to this forum so I thought I would ask those members that accept credits cards their opinion on PCI compliance (Payment Card Industry) Some of you may not know what I am even talking about and others are probably saying to themselves, " Ya I know what it is because my merchant service provider just sent me a letter stating that I must be compliant by this day and it's going to cost me $199 a year to stay compliant and each year I must take the survey".
PCI is real, not going away, and it's not only become a pretty big fiasco for the merchant service providers, it's become a big problem with merchants as well, Mainly because of the fee involved and also the time it takes to take the survey to become compliant.
