My company has had luck prospecting in LinkedIn and Facebook. Our first two clients came from facebook. We promote on all three which has helped us gain more exposure. Good stuff
I think there is no single social site that can do it all. We use Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook and for various reasons. We use Twitter for PR, LinkedIn to find potential partners and FaceBook for customers. But again, PR generates customers as well even though we are not using it to sell our services.
It makes sense that the responses are spread fairly equally. Which social media is most valuable really depends on the business type. We deal with ad agencies and there are a lot of agencies active on Twitter.
