Here in the U.S., the government doesn't require companies to give employees a specific number of paid time off days. Around the globe, though, many governments do. Here's a world view of paid time off policies.

    Why was Canada and Australia, two countries who have been classified as having the happiest and most content people in the world, not included in this study. I would have liked to see if there's a correlation to mandatory paid time off.
