What are some trends affecting your business?

In the recent series of Trends articles that appear on OPEN Forum, several trends were explored, including going green, localization, and working virtually. What are some trends that have affected your business – or that you have taken advantage of?

    The most significant trend I've noticed at my company (www.eliwilner.com) is the willingness of charitable organizations and museums to collaborate.

    Increasingly I have seen a strong outreach by institutions that have previously(for the last 30 years)been "off limits". A great example I'm involved with this week involves a fundraising dinner for the Olana Museum at the University Club in New York City.

    I am the "Grand Patron" along with Sotheby's. In the past 30 years it would have been nearly impossible
    to have this opportunity.
