I admire Seth Godin to no end, but I wouldn't say this video does much to create a compelling rationale for why a time-starved small business owner should begin doing something that is counter-intuitive to them. In addition, Tom Peters giving blogs kudus as a prominent speaker is like Mike Tyson saying boxing gloves have changed his life - useful if your profession is boxing but not so much if you're an electrician :-)

I think that this video opinion could change the approach that a 'first time' blogger might take when jumping into the 'blogging world.' I agree with the sentiment that if you blog with the simple thrust of improving your communication skills and sharing your thoughts with the world... you will find that your technical writing skills will improve and your 'blogging style' will emerge with experience. People will respond to both the information and opinions that you share... but more importantly... they will follow you because of your 'blogging personality or style.'
